Chagford is an ancient Stannary town situated on the north eastern edge of Dartmoor in Devon, England. Although tin mining has now ceased, Chagford still has a thriving community whilst maintaining an olde worlde character.

Chagford Tinners Fair a resounding success

Hundreds of visitors streamed in to Chagford last Saturday to visit the first Tinners Fair. All the shops and pubs were decked out with brightly coloured banners, about 60 in all, with the famous 'tinners rabbits' printed on them. More...
