ABOUT THE FILM
A young Chinese woman working in the kitchen at a London dance club is given the chance to become the main act, which leads to a plot of betrayal,
forbidden love and murder. Piccadilly is one of the last silent films to be made, and one of the true greats of British cinema. It’s a lavish feast of glamour and dancing, offering a sumptuous snapshot of 1920’s London as well as being a politically charged tale of racial imparity and a cutting observation of the division between the capital’s rich and poor.
