Gidleigh’s notorious dog show, back for a second bite after last year’s world premiere. What makes it special? Crufts rules nowhere in sight; and dogs (except those with the very naughtiest of owners) get a rosette for some talent or other—even when hidden. (Though disqualification for sausage-stealing.)

But that’s not all. After the show (about 6pm) a summer party follows with live music, starring 'Scott What It Takes', and others. Bar and classy sausage baps. Vegans catered for. Cash or card accepted.

Doors open at 3pm. Dog show at 4pm. Dogcarts at 9pm. Free entry.

A great time for all. This is a fundraiser: You will be helping save a very special hall.
