A Film Festival run-up event:
Inspired by the remarkable true story of Tourette syndrome campaigner John Davidson, 'I Swear' follows John from his diagnosis at the age of 15 as he navigates prejudice, misunderstanding and the challenges of growing up in 1980s Britain.
It’s a funny, moving and ultimately uplifting story about resilience, acceptance and the people whose kindness helped John find his voice and purpose.
And that’s not all… After the film, producer Graeme Mackenzie will join us to share some of the story behind making 'I Swear' and answer questions from the audience.
